Exciting Leaks for Google Pixel 10 and 11: Upgraded Tensor Chip and AI Features on the Horizon

Leaked documents reveal that Google’s upcoming Pixel phones, the Pixel 10 and 11, may feature an upgraded Tensor chip, bringing a host of new AI capabilities. Notably, the Pixel 11 could introduce a more advanced on-device version of the Video Boost with Night Sight, designed to enhance video quality in low-light conditions.

Currently, the Pixel’s low-light feature employs AI to optimize exposure, stabilize footage, and minimize graininess. In testing, the Pixel 8 Pro demonstrated impressive results. For the Pixel 9, Google has utilized a blend of on-device and cloud processing to brighten videos.

With the Pixel 11’s rumored “Ultra Low Light Video” capability, powered by the new Tensor chip, users can expect significant improvements. Reports suggest a shift to a custom processor in future Pixel models, moving away from the modified Samsung Exynos chipset.

Additionally, the Pixel 10 is anticipated to feature the upgraded Tensor G5 chip, enabling a “Video Generative ML” function for AI-driven video editing within the Photos app. The device may also include a “Sketch-to-Image” feature that transforms drawings into images, akin to Samsung’s image-generating AI tools. Other features like “Speak-to-Tweak” editing and “Magic Mirror” are also rumored, although details remain limited.

According to the leaks, the Pixel 10’s Tensor G5 chip may support local running of Stable Diffusion, enhancing its AI image generation capabilities through the Pixel Studio app, which currently leverages both on-device AI and Google’s cloud-based Imagen 3 model. Additionally, the Pixel 10 is set to support 4K HDR video recording at 60 frames per second, a step up from the Pixel 9’s 30 frames per second limit.

While these features sound promising, there’s still ample time for changes before the Pixel 10’s expected release in the second half of next year and the Pixel 11’s anticipated launch in 2026.
